Charity Evening in Tongres with the Soroptimist Club

On September 1, 2023, the charity dinner organized by the Soroptimist Club of Tongres took place. Thanks to their beautiful and generous donation to the Caring Hat Fund, our project will be able to assist more financially disadvantaged patients. During this evening, a fashion show was organized, and our Caring Hat hats graced the red carpet. Madame Fabienne Delvigne and Madame Christel Thomis delivered speeches at the end of the dinner, thus concluding this wonderful evening.

We would like to express our gratitude once again to the Soroptimist Club of Tongres for this incredible evening and their generous donation.

Discovery day at Saint Luc Hospital

Thanks to the wonderful idea of the Wellness area of the Albert II Institute, we had the opportunity to organize a workshop “Caring Hat” and introduce our hats.

It was a magical moment, shared with patients who were just as sparkling!
It was a magical moment, shared with wonderful patients ! They had the opportunity to spend a relaxed day thanks to facial treatments, a make-up session and the discovery of their color palette, adapted to their skin tone.
A hats fitting session followed, where we could discover the character of each!

Great News !

The partial reimbursement (up to €180) of headgear for patients with cancer or serious illness has just been approved by the RIZIV

This is a great victory for the Caring Hat initiative, which has been working hard for a year and a half to get this bill passed. This good news will help thousands of people in Belgium.

Meeting with 8 doctors from Hôpital St-Jean

We presented our project to 8 doctors from the St John's team. The team was very touched by the project and would like to participate in its development. We are working together with our partner hospitals in order to help as many patients with alopecia (hair loss) as possible.

Visite fondation cancer

Visit from a coordinator from the Cancer Foundation

Still with the aim of helping as many people as possible, we are thinking of setting up a partnership between our non profit organisation and the Fondation against Cancer. This is why Mrs Laura Diskeuve came to visit us. A nice exchange of ideas about the project and the wish to make it known throughout Belgium.
